12 Teams Advance to Tiger Cage Semifinals

Seventeen outstanding student-led teams, representing the Harbert College of Business, the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, the College of Human Sciences, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Architecture, Design and Construction, and the College of Sciences and Mathematics, pitched their business ideas before industry professional judges on Friday January 31 at the Harbert College of Business. Twelve teams were selected to advance to the February 28 Tiger Cage semifinals round.

The advancing teams who are one round closer to the final round where they will compete for $105,000 in funding are:
Bandit Duck Calls – Chifforo – Choice Employ – Farm Hub – Glory EV – Hustle – Patella Protector – Planet of Snacks – Polar Docks – Student Task – Tradition Apparel – Trusty.

In its eleventh year, the Tiger Cage business pitch competition discovers and rewards early-stage products, services or business concepts that emerge from Auburn University students. Recent success stories include, AbGlo, Vulcan Line Tools, Room2Room Movers, Flashtract, Yellow Card, and Tennibot.
The Tiger Cage final round – featuring the teams that advance from the semifinals – will be held on March 28 in the Broadway Event Space and Theater located in Horton-Hardgrave Hall. All rounds are open to the public.
